Yes. Both were founded by entrepreneur Joe Shirley. PRIMETIME is under one roof with Lush Wellness, directly adjacent to Lush MedSpa Tuscaloosa. The  two work side by side, but PRIMETIME is its own experience, built exclusively for men, with its own treatment menu and cigar lounge atmosphere. If you have been to Lush, you already know the standard of care. PRIMETIME brings that same standard to men’s health.

No referral is required. We are not an insurance based medical practice. You can request an appointment directly through our online form, and we will schedule your intake and lab work from there. Most men start with a conversation about their symptoms, followed by bloodwork that tells us exactly what we are working with.

Your first visit starts with an intake interview with founder Joe Shirley, who listens to your goals and symptoms and routes you to the appropriate provider. Joe conducts the intake but does not perform clinical consultations. From there, a physician reviews your labs and history and builds a treatment plan. Expect about an hour for the first appointment.

Testosterone therapy is considered safe for appropriately screened men when it is prescribed and monitored by a physician. At PRIMETIME, every hormone plan begins with comprehensive lab work, includes ongoing bloodwork to track your levels and safety markers, and is adjusted as needed. Yes. Many of our patients drive in from Moundville, Fayette, Gordo, Greensboro, and the surrounding West Alabama communities because there is no comparable men’s clinic closer to home. We schedule follow ups efficiently so a longer drive does not mean a longer day.
